Overview

Alan Colby, an English race car driver, is attempting to recover both physically and emotionally from a devastating accident that has left him with troubling mood swings and violent tendencies. Seeking a fresh start, Alan and his wife Denise escape to the Côte D'Azur, where the sunlit coast is a stark contrast to Alan's inner turmoil. There, they encounter Dr. Prade, a psychiatrist whose offer of help is met with skepticism and resentment. Tensions flare within the marriage as Denise confides in Prade and Alan's struggle intensifies. When Alan's disturbing impulses become impossible to ignore, Denise urges him to seek psychiatric help, setting the stage for a psychological drama that probes the boundaries of trust, therapy, and self-control.
