Programmer's Pick

Witchcraft and academia don't usually mix, but Night of the Eagle proves that tenure can be hell when you mess with the wrong charms. Sidney Hayers directs a sharp, atmospheric tale of skepticism gone wrong, with a standout turn from Janet Blair as the wife whose magic is anything but harmless.

Overview

At an English university, psychology professor Norman Taylor is confident that superstition has no place in the modern world. His American wife, Tansy, believes otherwise, secretly practicing conjure magic she learned in Jamaica in order to protect their family and ensure Norman's success. Accusations, threats, and inexplicable happenings begin to unravel Norman’s ordered life, as the boundaries between skepticism and supernatural menace blur.
